BC Protectors ships trading cards, collectibles and collector supplies across Australia. We take care when packing orders so your items are protected as much as reasonably possible during transit.
This Shipping Policy explains how we process, pack and ship orders placed through our website.
Shipping Within Australia
We currently focus on shipping within Australia.
Available shipping options, delivery methods and shipping costs are shown at checkout based on your delivery address, cart contents, parcel size, parcel weight and available carrier options.
Order Processing
Orders are usually packed and dispatched as soon as possible during business days.
Processing times may be longer during busy periods, product launches, restocks, preorder releases, sales events, public holidays or periods of high order volume.
If your order contains preorder items, your order may be held until all items are ready to ship unless otherwise stated on the product page or arranged with us.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
Rates may vary depending on:
- Your delivery location
- The size and weight of your order
- The shipping method selected
- The carrier or delivery service available for your address
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location, carrier volume, public holidays, weather events, release periods and other factors outside our control.
We do our best to dispatch orders promptly, but we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates unless this is expressly stated in writing for a specific order or shipping service.
Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent to the email address used at checkout once your order has been dispatched.
Please allow time for tracking information to update after your parcel has been collected, lodged or scanned by the carrier.
Packaging
We pack orders carefully based on the type of product ordered.
Depending on the order, packaging may include protective materials such as sleeves, top loaders, cardboard protection, bubble wrap, mailers, boxes or other suitable packaging materials.
Trading cards, sealed products and collector supplies may be packed differently depending on their size, value, fragility and shipping requirements.
Preorders
If preorder products are available, estimated release dates and arrival dates may be shown on the product page.
Preorder dates are estimates only and may change due to supplier, distributor, manufacturer, shipping, customs or carrier delays.
If an order contains both preorder items and in-stock items, the order may be held until all items are ready to ship unless otherwise stated or arranged with us.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
BC Protectors is not responsible for delivery delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated shipping information provided at checkout.
If you notice an address mistake after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible at business@bcprotectors.com.
We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee address changes once an order has been packed, fulfilled or dispatched.
Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, non-collection or another delivery issue, we will contact you where possible.
Additional shipping charges may apply if the order needs to be resent.
If an order is cancelled after being returned to us, original shipping costs may not be refundable unless required by law.
Authority to Leave
If you select or request authority to leave, safe drop or a similar delivery option, the carrier may leave the parcel at the delivery address without a signature.
Please consider whether your delivery location is secure before choosing this option.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
If your parcel appears delayed or tracking has not updated for an unusual period of time, please contact us at business@bcprotectors.com.
We can help review the issue and, where appropriate, assist with enquiries through the carrier.
Delivery issues are reviewed case by case depending on the tracking information, carrier response and order details.
Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at business@bcprotectors.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the outer parcel
- Photos of the internal packaging
- Photos of any damaged items
- A short description of the issue
Please keep the parcel, packaging materials and affected items until the issue has been reviewed.
International Shipping
At this stage, BC Protectors primarily focuses on shipping within Australia.
If international shipping becomes available, eligible countries, shipping options and rates will be shown at checkout.
Order Splitting
In some cases, we may split an order into multiple parcels due to product size, weight, availability or fulfilment requirements.
If this occurs, tracking information may be provided separately where available.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- Shipping details are accurate and complete
- The delivery address is safe and accessible
- Parcels are collected where required
- Any delivery issues are reported as soon as possible
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
